Brian's practice is exclusively dedicated to criminal and motor vehicle defense. When someone finds themselves accused of a crime, time can be short and experienced counsel is critical.
Brian has dedicated his practice to ensuring that clients are treated fairly and with respect throughout the process. The criminal justice system and interactions with police can be frightening and overwhelming.
Brian's 19 years of experience as both a prosecutor and now as a defense attorney give him a rare and unique perspective not shared by many attorneys...the ability to plan effective courtroom strategies and orchestrate successful, effective negotiations in order to obtain the best possible outcomes for his clients.
No one ever hopes to find themselves on the receiving end of field sobriety tests, a breathalyzer or a flurry of questions on their way home from a night out, but the reality is, from sobriety checkpoints to federal funding for police departments to utilize "enhanced" DWI patrols, DWI is probably the single most agressively investigated and prosecuted crimes on the Court's docket today.
An otherwise law abiding, innocent civilian can quickly find themselves in dangerous, difficult to navigate waters stemming from an innocent evening out on the town and driving home with a tail light out.
Brian began his career as a prosecutor in 1997, as an Assistant Hillsborough County Attorney, prosecuting exclusively Domestic Violence related offenses in the Manchester District Court. Brian quickly moved up the ranks, transitioning to felony-level prosecution and jury trials in the Superior Court within a few years, working in various counties throughout the state in the process.
In 2003, New Hampshire Magazine name Brian as one of the State's toughest prosecutors.
